I look forward to working with you and bringing your story to life.
This page just has a few things to help us get started and how I like to work.
I am happy to communicate either through the ACX message service or via email. My email is enquiries@krissiekirbyvo.com
We can use ACX to share files etc but I also like to use GoogleDrive so if there is anything I need to share with you I can drop handy share links inmessages/emails for ease.
To prepare I would like to have the following as soon as possible: (please see this article for a full list of things we migh need to cover before starting production Director's notes for your ACX production)
After I have read the script and prepared my notes, I may have some further questions/clarifications.
One I've finished reading the manuscript, I'll select a section to read for the checkpoint review. This is roughly around 5-6 pages of the manuscript. If this a specific section you would like me to sample, please let me know.
Once the sample is uploaded to ACX, and you have had a chance to review, please let me know if there any changes you'd like me to make at this point.
One the 15 min sample is agreed and accepted, I will start production on the full text.
While working I may ask a few more questions, I like to keep an open comms but also feel free to tell me to just get on with it ;).
I will give you a few days notice before I upload the files, especially if I am ahead of my proposed timeline.
Once complete, I'll upload to ACX and then it's over to you to check for an inaccuracies, missed or added words, mispronunciations or noticeable issues.
I'll then do those fixes and re-upload ready for you to accept once you're happy.
ACX will do their checks, once you've accepted which can take up to 10 business days.
Once passed their checks, the audiobook should be available on the site and you should be notified
I am always happy to get stuck in on promoting - it serves us both so would be odd if I didn't!
Please send me any social media images you would like me to share at any point in the journey. I use Instagram, faebook, slowly starting to get my head around TikTok, and will absolutely have it all over my website and LinkedIn.
